Christ the King is a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA),  a community of faith that shares a passion for making a positive change in the world. Through worship, service, and education, we practice our faith, grow our relationship with God and experience God's grace in our lives. We also work to put our faith into action. In our complex world, we strive to make a difference in practical ways.

If you feel your calling is to serve within our congregation, we have many volunteer opportunities ranging from ministry assistants, ushers, and greeters to education and technology.

Interested in serving in the community?  Our Outreach opportunities include these organizations below as well as programs run by the ELCA and Nothern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod.

Presbyterian Night Shelter

To get involved with any of these, contact a member of the church council and we'll get you in contact with a coordinator!

With nearly 10,500 congregations in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and nearly five million members, there are always opportunities to grow and develop your faith journey.

We welcome you to experience Christ the King Lutheran Church here in Haltom City.
